CM Dhami took to the streets in support of indigenous products, resolved to build a self-reliant India

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about promoting the ‘Swadeshi Apnao, Rashtra Ko Aage Badhao’ campaign in Gujarat on Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also took to the streets for public awareness in Uttarakhand by assimilating it. During the campaign in Paltan Bazaar, Dehradun, the Chief Minister inspired traders, voluntary organizations and citizens to use indigenous products as much as possible. He said that when we give priority to goods manufactured in our country, both the economic condition of the country and local employment will be strengthened. During this, he also pasted stickers to adopt indigenous products on business establishments along with MP and BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt. On Tuesday evening, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami led the ‘Swadeshi Apnao, Rashtra Ko Aage Badhao’ public awareness campaign by walking from Ghantaghar to Paltan Bazaar. The Chief Minister said that this campaign is a strong effort to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for self-reliant India and Vocal for Local to the people. The Chief Minister said that adopting Swadeshi is not just an economic decision but a national duty. By adopting the Prime Minister’s mantra of “Adopt Swadeshi, Make the Country Strong”, we can not only strengthen the country’s economy but also make local producers, craftsmen and small entrepreneurs self-reliant. He appealed to the traders to put Swadeshi nameplates on their shops so that customers develop a sense of trust and pride towards Swadeshi. He said that by using Swadeshi products, not only will our country’s money remain in the country, but India will also emerge stronger on the global stage. The Chief Minister put stickers of “Adopt Swadeshi, Make the Nation Strong” in the shops of Paltan Bazaar. He urged the people to give priority to Swadeshi options in festivals, gifts and daily use. The Chief Minister said that this will not only be an inspirational initiative, but it will also strengthen our cultural identity and the resolve of self-reliant India. During this, citizens including public representatives, officials of trade unions and voluntary organizations took a pledge to adopt Swadeshi and participate in the creation of a self-reliant India. The crowd also raised slogans of “Adopt Swadeshi – Save the Country”.
