CM Dhami took stock of the Tharali disaster, said- the government will study the debris deposited in the glacier.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the relief and rescue teams to work with full capacity in view of the disaster in Tharali. He said that in the disaster in Dharali, Tharali and Syanachatti, it has been seen that heavy debris has come with water at all three places. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the State Disaster Operations Center in the evening after returning from Delhi and took stock of the situation. During this, he directed to get dredging and channelization done in all the cities and towns situated on the river banks. He said that due to siltation in the rivers, their water level is rising, steps should be taken rapidly in this direction. He has also given instructions to evacuate the buildings coming under the threat on the banks of the rivers. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief over the death of the girl due to being buried in the debris in Tharali and wished for the safety and well-being of the missing person. He has appealed to the residents of Tharali to maintain patience. He said that the government stands with the people of Tharali in this difficult time.
