Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the government will deal strictly with the criminal elements who spoil the peaceful environment of Devbhoomi. He said that the people of Devbhoomi are peace loving. If people with criminal tendencies come and spread unrest in the peaceful valleys here and try to spoil the law and order, then it will not be tolerated at all. The Chief Minister said on Monday that a massive verification campaign is being run in the state to identify such criminal elements. In this, the law will do its job. Instructions have been given to the police administration to deal strictly with the criminal elements. Let us tell you that the Chief Minister had recently reviewed the incidents like conversion, love jihad, robbery in various areas of the state for some time. Then he had given instructions to ensure strict action in these cases. The Chief Minister asked all the agencies to work in mutual coordination to solve the problem of demographic change. He clearly said that it should be ensured that Uttarakhand does not become a refuge for criminals from other states. Also, he had directed to run an intensive campaign in the border districts.
Zero tolerance towards crime: Dhami
Now the Chief Minister has again said that the government is following the policy of zero tolerance towards crime in the state. Instructions have been given to work from the point of view that the fear of police should increase in the minds of criminals and trust in the general public should increase. He said that criminal elements will be dealt with strictly. No one will be allowed to spoil the peaceful environment of the state. He has also directed to make Uttarakhand a drug-free state and take effective steps to prevent cyber crimes.
