Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that in view of the traffic problem of the city, the Center will be requested for its construction or financial assistance for the 26 km long Rispana-Bindal Elevated Road. He said that in view of the increasing number of tourists, a request has been made to the NITI Aayog to give a special grant for the arrangement of facilities for the floating population. Addressing a program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dhami said that soon after the Delhi-Dehradun elevated road starts, a large number of tourists are expected to come to the state. In view of this, the state government is working with full vigor from now onwards. He said that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is a wonderful confluence of natural beauty, cultural heritage and spiritual energy. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is constantly trying to promote tourism in the state. In this sequence, the government has formulated a tourism policy to establish Destination Uttarakhand on the global tourism map. In this, success has been achieved in creating a favorable environment to attract investors.
The Chief Minister said that continuous efforts are being made towards developing various sectors like religious, adventure, eco-tourism, wellness tourism, agro tourism and film tourism in the state. On one hand, Manaskhand Corridor is being developed in a grand manner like Kedarkhand. At the same time, Rishikesh and Haridwar are being promoted globally as yoga and spiritual centers. The Chief Minister said that the government has also started a single window system clearance system to make film shooting easier in the state. Along with this, special subsidy and other facilities are being provided to filmmakers for shooting in Uttarakhand.
With these efforts, Uttarakhand has been awarded the Most Film Friendly State award in the National Film Awards. He said that the government is continuously working with full commitment to fulfill its alternative-free resolution of making Uttarakhand the leading state of the country.
