Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has asked to prepare such proposals for the meeting of the Central Regional Council by coordinating ecology and economy, which can give new impetus to the overall, sustainable and balanced development of the state. During this, he directed the panchayats to increase their own revenue, pay special attention to the topics of child nutrition and child and women crime. On Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the preparations for the 25th meeting of the Central Regional Council to be held under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Varanasi on June 24 at the Chief Minister’s residence. He said that the future of children is the future of the state and the country. In view of this, an integrated and target-based action plan should be made for their overall development. He has asked the Integrated Child Development Scheme, Food Security Department, Health Department and Sports Department to work in mutual coordination. He has asked to pay special attention to the proper nutrition, sports activities, health services and mental development of children. The Chief Minister has given instructions to ensure mandatory registration under Ayushman Yojana in all government hospitals. He said that for quick assistance in emergency situations, instructions were given to promote the 112 helpline number as much as possible.
The Chief Minister directed the Women and Child Development to regularly review the cases of malnutrition and anemia and run a campaign to improve the condition of children. He asked to strengthen the system of monitoring and evaluation of such efforts at the district level. Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, ADG AP Anshuman, Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman and departmental officers were present in the meeting.
Panchayats should make rules to earn revenue on their own
In the sequence of the instructions of the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan held a meeting and asked the Panchayati Raj Department to report the steps taken on the guidelines of the Finance Commission. He also directed the Panchayats to make rules within three months to earn revenue on their own. He directed to improve the ranking of indicators related to children and women. He also asked to fill the vacant posts in the Food Security Department. He directed to expedite the investigation of crimes against children and women and to install smart meters at all domestic consumers’ places by September.
He directed the Public Works Department and Rural Development Department to fulfil the targets given under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He asked to submit a report on the comparative progress of the Ayushman Yojana in comparison to other states.
