Polling for the Champawat by-election is to be held on March 31. A total of four candidates, including CM Dhami, are in the fray. Expressing confidence in Nirmala Gehtodi, Congress has fielded her. BJP has put full force for the victory of CM Dhami. Meanwhile, in the state cabinet meeting held recently, the government, following the promises of the manifesto, also approved the proposal to provide three cylinders free of cost to the Antyodaya card holders in a year. After which the mandate regarding this was also issued on Thursday.
Know when and how to get three cylinders:
To take advantage of the free gas cylinder scheme, it is necessary for the beneficiary to have an Antyodaya ration card. The facility of filling free gas will be provided through the District Supply Officer at the district level. The District Supply Officer will provide the list of Antyodaya card holder to the concerned gas agency of the area. After which Antyodaya card holders will get the facility of getting the first gas cylinder filled free of cost between April to July, second between August to November and third between December 2022 to March 2023 in this financial year by the concerned gas agency.
Self attested letter of the beneficiary will have to be given to the agency:
After providing free refill gas cylinders to Antyodaya card holders by the concerned gas agency, proof of bill and self attested prescribed declaration form of the beneficiary will be made available to the District Supply Officer. After this, the District Supply Officer will pay it to the gas agency as per the rules. The district supply officers will be provided with the budget amount for this by the Commissioner Food.
