CM Dhami has his eye on Uttarkashi Tunnel accident, meeting with officials; Gave these instructions

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is continuously taking information from the officials about the workers trapped in the tunnel near Silkyara, Uttarkashi. The Chief Minister is also taking updates of every moment from the agencies engaged in relief and rescue operations. After holding a meeting with senior government officials at the Chief Minister’s residence, the Chief Minister directed that they should maintain constant coordination with the district administration officials deployed on the spot and the agencies working there, and in case of any need of relief material, it should be made available immediately. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the experts included in the committee formed by the government under the chairmanship of the Director, Uttarakhand Landslide Mitigation and Management Center to study and investigate the causes of the landslide that occurred in the Silkyara Tunnel, have inspected the site and started the investigation. Important role of workers in rescue team
All rescue teams reached Silkyara after receiving information about landslide caused by opening of cavity in Silkyara tunnel and workers trapped inside the tunnel. In which there are ITBP, NDRF, SDRF, police and disaster management teams. But the main search and rescue work inside the tunnel is being done by the team of engineers and workers. Actually, the workers have more experience in working inside the tunnel.
