Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved an amount of Rs 348 crore for various works including police modernization. Along with the construction of helipad at Kasla site of development block Mori, the Chief Minister has also approved the naming of Chalkudia-Masmoli-Saknoli-Naukholi motor road in Garhwal as Shaheed Mandeep Singh Motor Road, Sisaldi-Manjhola motor road as Freedom Fighter Motor Road, Badiunkandul Talla-Kandul Malla Utinda motor road as Freedom Fighter Tula Singh Rawat Motor Road.
An amount of Rs two crore under the head of modernization of state police force
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved an amount of Rs two crore under the head of modernization of state police force under the financial year 2024-25. He has sanctioned Rs 2.43 crore for the improvement of various roads of Dhorakhas under Assembly Mussoorie. He has sanctioned Rs 1.48 crore for reconstruction of road from Vanbhulpura railway crossing to Gaulapul in Assembly Lalkuan under state plan, Rs 1.21 crore for construction of bridge to connect Goluchhina-Galli-Vasyura-Govindpur motor road under Assembly Someshwar. Chief Minister has sanctioned Rs 9.29 crore for construction of 30 houses in Central Jail Sampurnanand Camp and Rs 9.97 crore for 30 houses in Almora District Jail. He has sanctioned Rs 3.36 crore for construction of road and drain in Annekipur-Hetampur of Haridwar under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He has sanctioned Rs 4.03 crore for improvement and asphalting of Sarkot Bharadisain motor road in Gairsain under Chief Minister’s announcement.
237.45 crores for Tanakpur Bus Terminal Construction Project
The Chief Minister has approved Rs 237.45 crores for Tanakpur Bus Terminal Construction Project and Rs 52.38 crores for operation and maintenance work of Swan Uttarakhand Regional Extension Network. He has also approved an amount of 19.82 crores for building construction works in Government Polytechnic Dwarahat, Government Polytechnic Ganai-Gangoli and Government Polytechnic Pokhari. The Chief Minister has also approved Rs 4.56 crores for the construction of Automated Driving Test Track in Karnaprayag.
