In his brief address, he began by acknowledging the difficulties the youth were facing due to the ongoing protests. CM Dhami said that he too felt uneasy seeing the youth protesting in such heat during the festive season, and he had been continuously concerned about their well-being. He then stated that while the meeting could have been held at his office, he decided to come to the protest site himself. He assured the youth of his full support in making the recruitment process transparent and free from any doubts. Acknowledging the aspirations of the people of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister said he understood the importance of government jobs in their society. He stated that the youth of Uttarakhand study not just for knowledge, but for employment. They have many dreams for their future based on these government jobs, and the government will not let these dreams be shattered. With this resolve, the government implemented a stringent anti-plagiarism law and provided a record 25,000 jobs in four years. Therefore, based on just one complaint, he is ready to order a CBI investigation. For this, he came directly to the youth without informing any of his aides. By announcing the withdrawal of all cases filed against the youth during the protests, the Chief Minister has guaranteed a secure future for them, acting as a concerned guardian.
