The weather in Uttarakhand remains dry and the sun is shining from the mountain to the plain. Due to which the mercury is also rising rapidly. The maximum temperature in Doon has reached 25 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees Celsius more than normal.
However, the mood of the weather can change today. There are chances of partial clouds hovering in Doon and surrounding areas and light rain at some places. The sun was shining in Doon since Friday morning. The mercury also increased due to strong sunlight during the day and warmth was felt.
Fog is also increasing trouble
The cold has also reduced during the day in the hilly areas. However, there is chill in the morning and evening. The minimum temperature is normal in most areas and it is cold at night due to frost. Apart from this, light fog is also increasing trouble in some places in the plains. However, the weather can change today.

According to the Director of Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, today Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Chamoli and surrounding areas may remain partially cloudy. At some places, there may be light rain and showers along with thunder and lightning. Due to which the mercury may also fall. After this, there are chances of light rain and snowfall in most parts of the state from February 3.
