Civil Services Examination: In Doon, 59% of the candidates absent in the examination.

The Union Public Service Commission conducted the Civil Services Preliminary Examination on Sunday. In Doon, 59 percent of the candidates appeared in the examination. Candidates say that the paper was difficult and time consuming compared to the previous years. According to him, Conceptual was more than paper-1 factual. The candidates have been described as predictable and balanced by CSAT.

53 examination centers were set up for examination in Doon. The first paper was for General Studies and the second for Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). According to Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Bir Singh Budiyal, physical distance and mask were taken care of at the examination centers. At the same time, without thermal screening, the candidates were not allowed inside the center. He informed that a total of 22791 candidates were registered for the examination. 13510 candidates were absent in the first shift. While in the second shift 13647 left the examination.

Cutoff will be around 53 percent:
According to RA Khan, director of Prayag IAS Academy, most of the questions in this exam were conceptual. Very few questions were asked directly. He said that more questions were asked on ancient history, art and culture, Indian politics, geography, environment. In these, questions related to ancient history and art and culture not only shocked the candidates, but also put them in difficulty. The questions of current affairs were not up to the coronary but up to six months ago.
Questions from science and technology, economy were application based and recent developments were touched worldwide. Political science questions were traditional while geography questions were mostly from agriculture. Questions were asked on MSP, agricultural procurement and environmentally friendly farming practices. According to him, the question paper was relatively difficult, but anyone who has studied deeply and took the exam patiently must not have had any problem. Any candidate whose marks will reach 104-105, his first stop will be completed. That is, the cutoff will be around 53 percent.
