Dehradun – Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat held a meeting of officials for effective control of Kovid-19 at the Secretariat today. The Chief Minister directed the officers that Uttarakhand residents are coming in large numbers from outside states, in the districts where they are coming, thermal screening should be arranged so that the load of screening on Uttarakhand’s Boarder Aria can be reduced somewhat. Regular monitoring of people coming from outside is being quarantined. For this, personnel should be deployed. The Chief Minister said that the necessity of social distancing and masks should be strictly followed for control of the corona. It should be ensured that people have access to masks. Action should be taken against those who do not use masks and spit on public places. If workers from outside states are in Uttarakhand, if they want to go back to their states, then arrangements should be made to send the vehicles coming from the respective states. Chief Minister Trivendra directed the officials to keep complete data of all the people coming from outside states where they have been quarantined. If any of these corona are found positive then others can also be traced. For this, the police should also arrange to send SMS to the concerned people for alerts. The Chief Minister said that there is a need to strengthen the control room and IT sector in the state. He said that the people who are being quarantined in rural areas, good work is being done by the village heads in rural areas and full support is being given.
