Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami pays tribute to the martyred state agitators in Khatima

Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami paid homage to the martyred state agitators by laying flowers at the martyr’s memorial in Khatima. The Chief Minister also honored the families of the martyred state agitators in the program. He said that he is feeling proud by honoring the families of the martyrs. The state of Uttarakhand was formed by the martyrdom at places like Khatima, Mussoorie, Rampur Tiraha etc. According to the dreams of the martyrs, the state government is determined to develop the state of Uttarakhand. Our government is constantly striving to fulfill the dreams of our state agitators regarding employment, roads, education etc. In the coming 10 years, we will definitely make Uttarakhand the ideal state of the country.


The Chief Minister said that certificates have been given to the state agitators as a mark of respect. But many state agitators have been left out. After 30 July 2018, the state agitators were not identified. On the demand of the state agitators, a new mandate will be issued for the identification of the state agitators. In this, arrangements will be made for identification by December 31, 2021.

The Chief Minister said that after the death of the identified state agitators who have been allowed a pension of Rs 3100, their dependents, wife/husband will also be given a pension of Rs 3100 per month. On the order of the Hon’ble High Court to remove the state agitators working in various departments, the state government will make a concrete argument by filing a review petition. Appropriate arrangements will be made to give priority to the state agitators for jobs in industries. Free treatment will be ensured to the state agitators in the medical colleges as well as in the state hospitals. The Chief Minister said that other demands of the state agitators would also be definitely considered.
