Chief Minister gives the green signal to rehabilitate the affected families of highly sensitive villages.

The Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat has given permission for the displacement and rehabilitation to safe places in the four districts affected by the disaster prone families. For this, according to the proposal sent by Disaster Management, it has been approved to release funds as per standard items.
The Chief Minister has approved the proposal passed in the meeting of the State Level Rehabilitation Committee to displace the four affected families of displacement-rehabilitation policy of Bethan Namke Tok, a highly sensitive village in Tehri district. Under this, four families are to be rehabilitated at the new location. The Chief Minister has recommended an amount of 17 lakhs for the construction, gaushala construction and displacement allowance of these families. Two of these families currently live jointly in the same house, but in displacement they will have different rehabilitation facilities.
The Chief Minister has approved the proposal to rehabilitate the residential buildings of four families of highly sensitive village Malladesh under Tehsil Kapkot in Bageshwar district due to the danger. On behalf of District Magistrate Bageshwar, during the monsoon of 2018, the houses of these families came under the category of highly sensitive due to high rainfall and landslides. According to the Rehabilitation Policy, 2011, the proposal sent to the government has been approved in the meeting of the State Rehabilitation Committee.
The Chief Minister has agreed to the proposal of a sum of Rs 51 lakh for the rehabilitation of 12 families of Faldia village of disaster affected ultra sensitive village of Thalayi Tharali in Chamoli district. According to the rehabilitation policy, as per the standard items, Rs 4 lakh has been recommended for construction of per family building, 15 thousand for construction of Gausala and Rs 10 thousand for displacement allowance.
The proposal to rehabilitate the affected family of afflicted village Soned Lagad Jingoda of Tehsil Garrison in Chamoli district was also found to be appropriate. Approval has already been given in the meeting of the State Disaster Rehabilitation Committee. The Chief Minister has also given consent to this proposal and recommended to relocate the affected family to a safe place.
The Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat has agreed to the proposal of an amount of 1 crore 25 lakh 10 thousand for displacing 30 affected families of the highly sensitive village Asthal of Tehsil Dunda in Uttarkashi. Under the rehabilitation policy, Rs 4 lakh will be given for construction of building per family, Rs 15 thousand for construction of cowshed and Rs 10 thousand for displacement allowance. * Clearance of 45 lakh for 15 earthquake sensors *
Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the state has agreed to release 45 lakhs for expenditure on the operation of earthquake early warning system. After the consent of the Chief Minister, the Secretary of Disaster Management Authority S.A. Its GO has also been released by Murugation.
The proposal was sent to the Chief Minister through the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority. 15 earthquake sensors were installed by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee for the implementation of earthquake early warning system in the state. Which are currently degraded. A proposal of 45 lakhs was sent to the government to replace them. It has been clarified that the director will be responsible for IIT Roorkee in case of misappropriation of this amount.
