Chief Minister Dhami met Union Sports Minister in New Delhi, discussed these points

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi. During this, he shared information about the preparations for organizing the National Games in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand has got the privilege of hosting the 38th edition of the National Games. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Sports Minister for this. Said that more than 10 thousand skilled players from different states of India will participate in this grand festival of National Games running from 28 January to 14 February. Said that a lot of preparations have been made for organizing the National Games in Uttarakhand. Organizing the National Games will develop sports culture in Uttarakhand. Sports infrastructural facilities are being developed in the state in such a way that the players of the state can get international level facilities. Requested for financial assistance
The CM requested the Union Minister to approve the necessary funds for the construction of high-level sports facilities (High Altitude Center) in Dinapani of Almora district and for the establishment of one multipurpose sports hall at each development block level to provide high-level training to the players. Along with the approval of the proposal sent earlier for the operation of the ice skating ring located in the Maharana Pratap Sports College campus in Dehradun, he also requested for approval of funds for the upgradation of the adventure training center operated by the state government in Shivpuri in New Tehri district. Apart from this, he also requested financial assistance for the construction of an indoor artificial rock climbing wall on the land of the Women’s Sports College in Champawat district.
