The BJP, which has been in power in Uttarakhand since 2017, is now focusing on achieving a hat-trick victory in the 2027 assembly elections. In this context, the state-level workshop to be held in Dehradun on Wednesday, in the presence of BJP’s National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santhosh, is considered crucial. Santhosh arrived in Dehradun on Tuesday evening. Besides him, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, State In-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, and Co-In-charge Rekha Verma will guide the state office bearers, newly appointed district in-charges, district presidents, and district general secretaries at the workshop. BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, while speaking to reporters at the state party office on Tuesday, said that the workshop, to be held at a private institute in Kuanwala, will discuss the strategy for the BJP’s mission to achieve a hat-trick victory in the 2027 assembly elections. This will include strengthening the party organization at every polling booth, utilizing a large team of new elected representatives in both rural and urban areas, and effectively communicating the government’s achievements and party programs to the public, among other topics. He said that after this workshop, the new state team will begin preparations for Mission 2027. He added that party workers in the state are celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as a fortnight of disaster relief service. He said that the government is working round the clock to provide relief to those affected by disasters, and party workers are also engaged in public service with full dedication. The workshop will also discuss how this relief work can be made even more effective. In response to a question, he said that the Congress’s allegations of a paper leak in the Group C recruitment exam are extremely unfortunate and irresponsible. He said that the events that have come to light now reveal a conspiracy to defame the examination system. He added that the entire conspiracy will be exposed within a day or two. Anyone involved in these conspiracies will face severe penalties under the strictest copyright laws, penalties that they will remember for generations to come.
