Bird Flu-The forest department has claimed 24-hour surveillance of migratory birds in Uttarakhand.



The forest department is conducting 24-hour surveillance on migratory birds in Uttarakhand. Drone force is also being used for this. On Friday, in a courtesy call on Assembly Speaker Premchand Agarwal, PCCF Rajiv Bharathi informed the Speaker on the subject related to bird flu prevention and safety. The Chief Conservator of Forests said that vigilance has been increased in view of cases of bird deaths.

Instructions have been given to arrange drones and monitor 24 hours in all possible areas to monitor migratory birds. The Speaker also directed to make arrangements in advance to ensure that there is no movement of wildlife on the road between Haridwar to Rishikesh during Kumbh Mela and the devotees should not have any problem.

The Assembly Speaker of Rishikesh directed to install solar fencing in the area adjacent to the forested border in Raiwala in Rishikesh. Raiwala, seeming city area being along the border of Rajaji Tiger Reserve, crops and other properties are being damaged by wildlife.
