From Dehradun DM, Governor Baby Rani Maurya inquired about works related to Covid-19.



Dehradun– Governor Baby Rani Maurya today received information about various works related to Covid-19 in the district from DM Dehradun at Raj Bhavan. The Governor reviewed the quarantine facilities specially prepared in the district.

Governor Maurya expressed satisfaction over Covid-19 related works, preparations and other arrangements in the district. He also appreciated the work being done by all the doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, safikars, police and administration people fighting Covid-19. The Governor directed the DM that the highest priority should be given to the safety and convenience of the people while maintaining the standards of high quality in all the works. The people living in the quarantine centers should be heard sensitively and helped. District officer Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava informed that for institutional quarantine in Dehradun, institutional and paid quarantine has been arranged in hostels and other buildings. Rapid tests and swab tests of people and migrants coming from outside are being done. Travel history and records of these people are being kept. Arrangements for thermal scanning and screening have also been made at the airport. Medical check-ups of quarantined people are being ensured from time to time. Seven days institutional quarantine and seven days home quarantine are being done to the people coming from the Red Zone. The administration is providing morning breakfast, lunch and dinner to the people regularly in the quarantine centers. Water bottles are also being made available to all the people. Nodal officers have been appointed to look after and maintain the quarantine centers. An emergency helpline has been provided for people living in the quarantine center in case of any kind of problem.
