Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan held a press conference regarding the budget session in Dehradun. The state government has once again taken the initiative to prepare a budget in accordance with public sentiments. The state government will conduct a dialogue program with stakeholders for suggestions on the upcoming budget. The government will also include important suggestions in the budget. Finance Minister Premchand Aggarwal has sought suggestions from the people of Devbhoomi under the slogan ‘Janata ka budget, Janta ke dwara, Janbhaavon ke anuran banega hamara budget’. Finance Minister Aggarwal said that his government has started the tradition of taking suggestions from the public before the budget. Under this tradition, suggestions have been invited from the people of Devbhoomi regarding the budget making for the financial year 2025-26. Budget suggestions have been sought till February 9, 2025 to ensure public participation in the budget making process.
