Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, during a review meeting with senior officials at the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday, directed that all the roads in the state should be made pothole free within a month after the monsoon. He said that all construction works should be expedited after the monsoon period. Special attention should be paid to quality along with speed in the work. In view of the upcoming Kanwar fair, the Chief Minister has given instructions to complete all the preparations in a safe manner as well as to keep all the facilities related to cleanliness, drinking water, health better and to take special care of the cleanliness of the ghats. The Chief Minister directed that construction work should be done in the mountainous areas according to the carrying capacity. To improve the parking system at tourist places, vacant spaces should be identified and adequate parking facilities should be provided. The Chief Minister said that the government guest houses whose condition is not good should be maintained properly. Better facilities should be provided for those staying in the guest house.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to pay special attention to increasing GST collection. It should be ensured that there is no GST theft in the state. If needed, a campaign should be launched for this. People involved in business activities should be made aware about GST registration. The Chief Minister has given instructions to promote digital payments. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, ADGP A.P. Anshuman and IG Krishna Kumar VK were present in the meeting.
