After Purola, Mahapanchayat became a headache for the police in Doon, CM Dhami said – messing with the law will be costly

The mahapanchayat in Uttarkashi’s Purola district, now in Dehradun district, has become a headache for the police. The mahapanchayat proposed by Hindu organizations in Purola has been postponed, but the impasse continues in Dehradun. In this matter, the office bearers of Muslim organizations met the Director General of Police Ashok Kumar and discussed about the Mahapanchayat. On the other hand, Dehradun’s SSP Dalip Singh Kunwar said that the mahapanchayat will not be allowed to take place under any circumstances.
On June 18, Muslim Seva Sangathan and Numainda Group office bearers Naseem Khan, Naeem Qureshi, Razia Begum and others met the Director General of Police regarding the proposed mahapanchayat. During this, he has asked the exodus of Muslims in Uttarkashi to provide them security, and handed over the memorandum. Talking to reporters, Naeem Qureshi said that the police is forcefully trying to cancel the mahapanchayat. We are ready to die but will not back down.
He said that the mahapanchayat has been postponed in Purola, so it is their own decision. Intellectuals from every corner of the country are reaching the Mahapanchayat. Everyone has been called upon to reach the Mahapanchayat. Continuous calls are coming from Delhi, Lucknow, Meerut and other places. Police should punish the wrongdoer but the innocent should not be harassed.

SSP said, Mahapanchayat will not be allowed to happen:
Dehradun’s Senior Superintendent of Police Dalip Singh Kunwar said that a meeting was held with the office bearers of Muslim organizations for three hours on Wednesday night. Positive decisions have come out in this. Some people of the organization have also met the Director General of Police on Friday and now time has been taken from meeting the Chief Minister. He said that there will be no panchayat or mahapanchayat on June 18. No other type of crowd will be allowed to gather. If needed, section 144 will also be imposed.

Chief Minister on Purola episode:
