22,352 students have been admitted in Dehradun region and 19,267 in Haldwani area. The university has 74,456 students enrolled in 120 study centers under all the eight regional offices in the state. The number of students has increased more than six thousand as compared to last year.
By November, 60 thousand students had been admitted to the study centers. This number has crossed the 74 thousand mark till the date of admission closure. Free university admission charge Prof. Madan Mohan Joshi said that students who have taken admission will be given information through SMS.
At the same time, let us tell you that in Uttarakhand Open University, the university administration has now prepared a plan to construct a modern library. 6 crore 12 lakh is expected to be spent on this scheme. The government has sent this proposal of the university with a recommendation to the Ministry of Minority Welfare, Government of India.
