The government, which is giving special emphasis on self-employment in Uttarakhand, will now take suggestions from successful entrepreneurs to take this campaign forward. In this episode, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Migration Prevention Commission is going to organize a dialogue program with entrepreneurs on November 13 in the assembly premises located at Bhararisain in the summer capital Gairsain. About 200 successful entrepreneurs of the state will participate in it, including Lakhpati Didi associated with self-help groups. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself will communicate with these entrepreneurs and take suggestions from them regarding furthering self-employment activities. This initiative will also break the silence prevailing in the assembly premises in Gairsain. Along with this, a better message will also be sent with a view to promoting entrepreneurship in the hills.
Contacted with successful entrepreneurs of Garhwal and Kumaon divisions
Let us tell you that the Bhararisain assembly complex remains buzzing only during the assembly session. Some time ago, Chief Minister Dhami had instructed in the board meeting of the Migration Prevention Commission that suggestions should be taken from the successful entrepreneurs here with a view to rapidly advance the self-employment schemes. Although the commission had taken such an initiative earlier, the Chief Minister asked to do it in a holistic manner. In this sequence, the commission started working out and then contacted the successful entrepreneurs of Garhwal and Kumaon divisions as well as self-help groups. The outline of this dialogue program has been finalized. According to the Vice Chairman of the Commission, Dr. SS Negi, the program of dialogue with entrepreneurs was earlier proposed in Dehradun, but on the instructions of the Chief Minister, it will now be held in the Assembly premises in Gairsain. He informed that 200 entrepreneurs have been selected for the dialogue. Some of them are also Lakhpati Didi. In the program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will communicate with these entrepreneurs and take information about their enterprise as well as take suggestions about the difficulties faced in the way of setting up the enterprise and what can be done to overcome them. He said that the government will take the self-employment campaign forward rapidly by amending the policies in accordance with the suggestions that will come out in the dialogue.
The Chief Minister will also hold a board meeting
After the dialogue program with entrepreneurs in Gairsain, the Chief Minister will also hold a board meeting of the Migration Prevention Commission. According to the Vice President of the Commission, Dr. Negi, the strategy of self-employment will be discussed in the meeting with a view to curbing migration from villages.
