The long-awaited cabinet expansion may soon be over. Rumours of this have intensified. Party state president Mahendra Bhatt confirmed this in a conversation with Amar Ujala. Five positions in the state cabinet are vacant. Four of these positions have been vacant for a long time, while one became vacant after the resignation of former Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Agarwal. BJP MLAs are awaiting the imminent filling of these positions, but despite numerous discussions, no results have yet emerged. Rumours have intensified once again amid reports that former Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had discussed this matter with the top leadership. State president Mahendra Bhatt has spoken to CM Dhami regarding this matter. He informed that the CM is traveling to Delhi on October 17th. The cabinet expansion will be carried out soon after receiving the green light from the top leadership. Chairman Bhatt also stated that his goal was to expand the cabinet, but the announcement was prevented due to civic elections, then panchayat elections, by-elections, disasters, or other such reasons. He said, “This wait will soon be over, and five new members will enter the cabinet.”
