Eight proposals were approved in the Uttarakhand Cabinet meeting on Monday. These include the conversion of mini Anganwadi centers into full-fledged Anganwadi centers and the granting of 50% direct promotions to supervisory positions for workers.
In addition, the state government granted permission for small houses/shops in Dehradun’s freeze zone, and made it mandatory for public sector corporations to contribute 15% of their net profits to the state government.
In the interest of employees, a decision was also made to grant health workers the benefit of one-time transfer and promotion stabilization after five years of satisfactory service. The Chief Minister was authorized to convene a special legislative assembly session to mark the state’s 25th anniversary.

Mini Anganwadis to be converted into Anganwadi centers. 50% of the supervisory positions will be filled directly by Anganwadi workers.
Relief will be granted in the freeze zone in Dehradun, allowing small houses and shops.
Health workers and health supervisors will be transferred to other districts once after completing five years of satisfactory service.
Foreign Citizen Registration Certificates will be accepted for Nepalese, Bhutanese, and Tibetan citizens for marriage registration under the Uniform Civil Code.
The proposal for stabilization in promotions has been approved, and personnel will receive the benefit once during their service period.
The adjournment of the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly was approved.
The Chief Minister was authorized to convene a two-day special session of the Legislative Assembly to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the state of Uttarakhand.
All public sector corporations in the state will be required to contribute 15 percent of their net profits to the state government.
