Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, during a meeting with a delegation of the Uttarakhand Unemployed Association and technical diploma holders, assured the state government that the state government is fully committed to a merit-based and transparent recruitment process. The delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for respecting the sentiments of the youth, taking cognizance of complaints of irregularities in the examination process, and deciding to cancel the relevant examination. The association officials stated that the promptness and sensitivity with which the state government addressed this issue is a historic decision in the interest of the youth. CM Dhami stated that the government’s clear message is that there will be zero tolerance for corruption, cheating, or unfair means in any recruitment examination in Uttarakhand. The state government has taken a strong step towards ensuring transparency in the examination process by implementing an anti-cheating law. With the implementation of this law, strict action will be taken against any individual or organization attempting to influence the examination process. The hard work, dedication, and honesty of Uttarakhand’s youth are the greatest asset for the state’s future, and the government is always ready to protect their interests.

Representatives of the association requested the Chief Minister to further strengthen anti-cheating provisions in future examinations and conduct the recruitment process in a timely manner. The Chief Minister stated that transparent recruitment is the hallmark of good governance, and the state government is continuously working towards this end.
