Cooperation Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, in a high-level virtual review meeting, thoroughly reviewed the progress of PACS computerization with officials from the Cooperative Department across the state, including Chief Development Officers, Nodal Officers, Assistant Registrars, and General Managers. The Minister commended the officials concerned for the rapid progress in Dehradun, Almora, and Uttarkashi districts. Expressing strong displeasure over the slow progress in other districts, Dr. Rawat clearly warned that strict action will be taken against officials who adopt a sluggish approach. Progress monitoring will be conducted virtually every third day. He stated that officials unwilling to work should either go on medical leave or take voluntary retirement, but the work must be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
Dr. Rawat stated that seven senior departmental officers have been designated as nodal officers for all 13 districts, who will visit the districts within 60 days to ensure the computerization work is completed.
In the meeting, Secretary Cooperation Dr BVRCC Purushottam, Additional Secretary and Registrar Cooperation Dr Meherban Singh Bisht, CDOs of all districts, Nodal Officers of districts, Assistant Registrars and Secretary General Managers joined through virtual medium.
