The Uniform Civil Code Law will come into force in Uttarakhand before the State Foundation Day. The bill has been approved by the President. This was said by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami after the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new chambers building organized by the Bar Association.
The government will have full participation in the construction of the chamber
During this, he assured the advocates of the Bar Association Dehradun that the government will have full participation in the construction of the chamber. The proposal sent by the Bar Association will be placed before the cabinet and after the proposal is passed, the amount to be given for the construction of the chamber will be announced. The Chief Minister also expressed concern over about 1.30 lakh cases pending in the court. Said that there should be no delay at any level in getting justice.
The map of the building being constructed on 5 bighas of land is pending
Bar Association President Rajiv Sharma Bantu said that at present the number of registered members has reached 4500. A large number of people are joining the legal profession. The map of the building being constructed on five bighas of land is pending in MDDA. He requested the Chief Minister that if the map is sent on time, he will be able to start the work soon.
