Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has termed the delay in the construction of Military Dham as unsatisfactory and has directed to complete its construction by October 15. He has also directed to complete the construction work within the estimated amount of Rs 94 crore for this. He has also instructed the implementing agency and engineers not to take any kind of negligence in the quality of the construction works of Military Dham.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while chairing the meeting of the high-level committee organized in the Secretariat regarding the construction of Military Dham on Friday, directed the Minister of Sainik Welfare to continuously monitor the construction work of Military Dham so that there is no further delay in this work. He also asked to make a proposal to increase the financial assistance given to the dependents of martyred soldiers. In all such cases, including those of the five martyrs of the state who were martyred in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, instructions were given to take immediate action for employment in government service. The Chief Minister directed to make such arrangements in future in such cases that employment in government service is done without delay and a time limit should be fixed for this.
He also asked to take immediate action to name roads and schools around the villages of the five martyrs after these brave martyrs. He said that after the construction of the military shrine, the MDDA should be given the responsibility of its maintenance and operation. The Chief Minister has directed the District Magistrate Dehradun to resolve the land dispute arising in the construction of the military shrine. He said that our state is not only Devbhoomi but also Veerbhoomi. The military shrine is a symbol of respect for the soldiers and the rich military tradition of the state. It will also become a place of inspiration for our youth.
In the meeting, 500 meters of the military shrine was also discussed. It was also decided to cancel the order issued regarding banning construction work within the periphery and to make this system rational.

Bisht, District Sainik Welfare Officer Brigadier (Retd.) Amritlal and other senior officers were present.
