On Tuesday, members of many transport companies, led by Uttarakhand Transport Federation President Sudhir Rai and Joint Rotation Yatra Management Committee President Naveen Chand Ramola, demonstrated against the state government in the bus terminal premises. Sudhir Rai said that a replica of Kedarnath temple is being established in Delhi. Due to this, crores of devotees who have faith in Kedarnath temple are feeling hurt. Said that the right holders and priests in Kedarnath Dham are openly opposing this decision of the government.

Naveen Chand Ramola said that it is not right to misuse the name of Kedarnath temple. Installing the replica of Kedarnath temple is like challenging the importance of Kedarnath Dham. He said that this will have a bad effect on tourism and pilgrimage in the state. This has caused anger among the people of the state. He demanded the state government to stop the installation of the replica of Kedarnath temple in Delhi.
