Session may be held in Gairsain from August 5, approval may be given in the cabinet meeting today

The monsoon session of the assembly is likely to be held from August 5 in the assembly building located in Bhararisain, summer capital Gairsain. Its duration may be five days. However, the final approval will be given after discussion in this regard in the cabinet meeting to be held on Thursday. There has been no session of the assembly in the summer capital Gairsain since the budget session in March last year. This time also the budget session was proposed in Gairsain, but then it was held in Dehradun on the request of MLAs of both the ruling party and the opposition. The budget session ended on February 29.

Second session necessary to be held before six months
As per the rules, the second session after one is necessary to be held before six months. In view of this, the session of the assembly has to be held before August 29. Keeping all this in mind, preparations have been going on for the last several days. It has been decided that the monsoon session will be held in Gairsain. Now only the date and duration of the session has to be decided. A decision will be taken on this in the cabinet meeting to be held on Thursday. On the other hand, when contacted, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Agarwal said that the monsoon session in Gairsain is proposed in the first week of August. This will be discussed in the cabinet.
