CM Dhami expressed gratitude for the special package, said- ‘The budget is inclusive, visionary, all-encompassing and all-encompassing’

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has termed the general budget as historic, visionary, inclusive, all-encompassing and all-pervasive. He said that this budget will realize the aspirations of the countrymen and will give new direction and momentum to the country. Talking to reporters at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Chief Minister Dhami thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for giving a special assistance package for the loss caused by natural calamity in Uttarakhand. He said that through this special package, the damage caused by disasters in the state will not be able to hinder the pace of development of the state.

Nine priorities included in the budget

He said that the central government has included nine priorities for developed India in the budget, which will prove effective in empowering the overall development of India. This budget will work to bring prosperity in the life of the common man. The Chief Minister thanked the Central Government for the start of the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He said that this decision will further strengthen road connectivity in rural areas. The Chief Minister said that the new tax system will provide relief to government employees and pensioners. On the announcement of opening new industrial parks in the budget, the Chief Minister said that deals worth more than Rs 3.5 lakh crore were signed in the Global Investors Summit held last year. Uttarakhand is also expected to benefit from the construction of such parks.
The Chief Minister said that solar energy has been encouraged under the PM Suryaghar Yojana in the budget. This will benefit the remote areas of the state. In the budget, a provision has been made to give a loan of Rs 10 lakh to students for higher education in domestic institutions. Loan has been arranged for skill development. Also, minimum support price has been announced on main crops.

He said that for those getting jobs for the first time, if the salary is less than Rs 1 lakh, then Rs 15,000 will be given as assistance. Those who are not getting any benefit under government schemes will get admission loan to get admission in institutions across the country. This loan will be given to one lakh students every year. This will definitely benefit the youth of the state as well.
