Angered by the non-opening of liquor shops under the same new liquor policy, Excise Commissioner Hari Chand Semwal has given instructions to withhold the salaries of District Excise Officer Durgeshwar Tripathi of Uttarkashi and District Excise Officer of Chamoli till further orders. The Excise Commissioner is angry with this and the government’s revenue is also getting affected.
